The San Francisco March and Counter-Demonstration

January 28, 2011 by Gerard M. Nadal

On the road, more than 50,000 wholesome-looking pro-lifers. Along the sidewalk, a small, scruffy band of counter-protestors who look like extras from a 1970′s B-movie in hippie horror.

The contrast in numbers, dignity, and comportment pretty much speaks to the heart of each movement.

Amazing pro-life unity & spirit. May we all join together as one to respect human life & dignity. May His will be done. May His Kingdom come. May the Peace & Grace of God be with you all.

To be fair, it must be said that a lot of people, on ALL sides of the political spectrum, who live in San Francisco ” look like extras from a 1970′s B-movie in hippie horror.”

I knew true hippies as well as some Knights of Columbus to whom this description equally applied!

Keeping the thread on topic, what is with the proabort demonstrators and the star wars masks? Now that’s kinda creepy!

And it’s always been this way – the contrast between peaceful, calm, and prayerful prolifers and angry, hating proaborts.

Let’s face it: it takes a person with alot of hate in their heart to promote the killing of a little baby.
