Thank You Jill Stanek

December 27, 2009 by Gerard M. Nadal

Originally posted 12/24. Reposted today. (I don’t want my thank you card pushed off the front page so soon)

A few weeks ago I joined in the insightful discussions going on at Jill Stanek’s blog. Moderator Bethany and Jill encouraged me to begin a blog of my own, given my scientific background. They were followed right on by Moderator Carla. They have been enormously helpful in their suggestions and guidance in getting Coming Home off of the launchpad.

Were that not enough, Jill has written an extremely gracious and generous introduction today for Coming Home. I’m deeply humbled to have so great an endorsement from a member of the Pro-Life Pantheon. I’ve also been warmed by the great love and care of Jill’s community. I’ll repeat here what I posted over at Jill’s:

“As my blog title intimates, Coming Home is about reclaiming our rightful place, our dignity in the family. I’ve been too long gone from that place, that role in the pro-life family, and I thank you all for so warm a welcome.”

There are a great many others we need to bring home, as there are too many empty places at the table.

On this Eve of the Nativity, I take this time and opportunity to say a very special thank you to my wife Regina. I may be the “mouth” in this Pro-Life partnership, but Regina is the heart and soul. A pediatric ICU and neonatal ICU nurse for twenty years and the mother of our three beautiful children, Regina is a walking parable, the inspiration for all that I do.

Again, Thank You Bethany and Carla
Thank You Jill

Merry Christmas All.

    Gerard,

I’m so pleased you so quickly took the blog ball and ran with it. You’re already such an asset to the pro-life community via the new media, where there are no blocks or filters to our message.

And you have such a gifted way of articulating our message!

Thank you for dedicating your time, talents, education, and passion to the pro-life cause, Gerard!

    Merry Christmas!

Jill is awesome, isn’t she? I don’t comment much over there anymore, but I wanted to say ‘hi’. She was the inspiration for my blog as well!

Merry Christmas! I look forward to reading your articles.

Ditto. I’ll be checkin’ in and stealing, er, borrowing from you often. There cannot be enough of us. I too used to moderate and Jill’s and with Val, began another blog. In numbers there is strength. God Bless and I look forward to reading more…

good heavens, that sentence leaves much to be desired.

I too used to moderate AT Jills, and with Val, left and began another blog…yikes, and I claim to be a “writer”?????

Only a true writer checks back in to correct their mistakes 🙂

Steal, er, borrow as much as you like. If you think I need to link to more primary source material, let me know and I’ll post it. Thanks for stopping in. Merry Christmas.
