Cardinal-Designate, Archbishop Raymond Burke gives clear teaching:
“You can never vote for someone who favors absolutely the right to choice of a woman to destroy a human life in her womb or the right to a procured abortion…You may in some circumstances where you don’t have any candidate who is proposing to eliminate all abortion, choose the candidate who will most limit this grave evil in our country, but you could never justify voting for a candidate who not only does not want to limit abortion but believes that it should be available to everyone.”
That, and so much more in the video.
I like John Smeaton’s idea that prolife Catholics must now go after the Vatican when appointed bishops do not follow the teachings of the Catholic church. He has encouraged prolifers to go right to the top and try to stop this nonsense from continuing and to have the Vatican appoint prolife bishops:
The “failure of Catholic bishops” to teach on life issues is “directly responsible for great confusion and, consequently, for the failure of the overwhelming majority of Catholics, both clerical and lay, to provide truly effective resistance to the greatest legalized slaughter of human beings in the history of the world,” said Smeaton, who heads the world’s first pro-life organization, founded in 1966. “Countless millions of unborn children are being killed each year and the policy of very many Catholic bishops is contributing hugely to this deplorable situation.”
