The sights and sounds of Monday’s rally with Dr. Alveda King in Harlem. The story is the first one up on the video.
Dr. Alveda King states:
“Life is a civil right, abortion is a civil wrong.”
So true!
God bless the pro-lifers of NY!
Gerry, it’s enlightening how you point out the hypocrisy in the City’s treatment of one institution versus another. If anything can wake people up, hopefully it’s the realization of unfair (hypocritical) treatment. One would think that even those who “get their way” in terms of a law passed in their favor would somehow give pause by the realization that they enjoy privileges that they never did grant their opponents. However, in all fairness, why am I losing my hair and you’re not?
Hi Paul,
It’s the exercise of raw political power, with Quinn betting on a liberal activist judiciary shredding the Bill of Rights and upholding her bill through judicial fiat. Were equanimity even a part of the process, she would blush with shame at the thought of such a bill.
As regards the hair, I fully expect to wake up one morning and discover that a genetic time bomb has gone off in the night, leaving most of my hair on the pillow 😉
Judicial fiat — Roe vs. Wade perhaps one the more salient examples, but many more in what seems to me to be a dangerous trend. Keep exposing hypocrisy, you do it very well.
Wonderful to see you talk before a large crowd. No sign of nervousness too! (I need to wear astronaut diapers when I talk in front of more than 2 people.) I’m so proud of you, Gerry!
Thanks Paul! (I had my astronaut diaper on 😉 )
